KL Cityguide - Heli Lounge Bar, Helipad - stunning KL Skyline

While staying at Impiana Hotel KLCC ( read HERE ) for an anniversary weekend break, I enjoyed the celebration by visiting Heli lounge bar, Helipad Menara KH. Helipad is one of the highest open area lounge in Kuala Lumpur at the 34th floor.

This venue is perfect for a short nighout, I always wanted to see what the hype is about, I couldn’t be more thrilled. It was on saturday evening that my wife and I took a stroll down from Impiana Hotel to Menara KH about 15m walk.

I read review saying no shorts or flip-flops allowed for entry, we dressed up to occasion (mildly). The elevator brought us straight to 34th floor where a proper bar located where drinks is ordered and served. Fifty Ringgit for two non-alcoholic drinks , it is a ripped off but i guess the price is for the view. The helipad at the roof top of the building only opened at 6pm.  In order to go up to the helipad, you’ll need to climb a few flights of stairs.

The price for the view, not for the drinks

It was a cloudy day but it wasnt raining, the sky was just greyish. On the helipad, you will get a stunning 360-degree panoramic KL skyline. Ive been to KL Tower observation deck which is higher but this helipad provides you a barrier-less deck, what a spectacular sights all around.
Its not a surprise that everyone is so busy taking  pictures that it can be quite a distraction if all you want is to sit down and enjoy the scene, but the sunset and the altitude is definitely an instagram worthy pictures.

I sat on the chairs for a 40 minutes, what annoy us was the bartender in their aviation theme dress (including the security ) wont stop bugging us to order dinner or few more drinks or else we should give us the seats for other patrons to sit.  That was the time that more crowd coming in, we called it a day , left the rooftop .

The panaromic  view is what you come here for, simply one of the best vantage point to enjoy Kuala Lumpur skyline.
